Our story started in Louisville, Kentucky. We bought our first βfixer upperβ as two young adults finishing up our Engineering and Nursing degrees. We found out very soon, that living through construction as students (+3 dogs!!), and completely remodeling a foreclosed home on our own, sounded a lot easier than it was. Despite all of that, we found a passion in bringing older homes back to life. That passion is now Scarlet Oak Homes. Fast forward 7+ years later, we are now bringing homes back to life in the Carolinas. We know what it is like to remodel/build on a budget, but that shouldnβt stop you from living in your dream home.
